Random nothings

Because life is as such (think slow and pretty much nothing), I've decided to fill the space with pics of nonsense landscapes and... what other than, food. :)

At The Pizza Place.

Smoked salmon pizza, my fav pizza thus far.

Classic Jamie face.

The best day in my entire audit work life, going back home before official knock off time.

Dad's handicraft experiment on the front grills.

Spent the day lounging around, using the computer and kinect and watching the all-new TV sensation, Terra Nova. I wonder how the whole story line will pan out.

Photog shots of the day.

Pop art mode puts me in such a bright and cheery mood, I love the vibrant colours and picture effects! It's perfect for a sunny Singapore day out, photoshoot worthy. :)

Let's go to The Merry Men!

With progress on the website delayed due to unforeseen circumstances, it really sucks to have to tell people who are anxiously waiting for the collection that it will probably take a while longer to be launched. To be honest, even I myself don't know when Jaynelles will be relaunched. zz.

Setting up Jaynelles has taken alot of time and patience on our part and we've faced ordeal after ordeal and overcame problem after problem. It's very very tough to think of alternatives every single time we meet an obstacle but I'm positive that we emerge out of it more confident that we are improving the apparel and service provided to customers.

To other news, N has been busy with work so we haven't been exploring places or doing things like we used to before he started work. I've been spending alot of time with my colleagues and friends and it's nice to be around them on Friday nights/whenever we have time for a pint or two. Looking forward to our Halloween party at Zouk on Friday! :)

Anyways, we arranged for dinner at The Merry Men @ Robertson Quay yesterday for an early birthday celebration for a colleague. Caution: the truffle fries are addictive!

Truffle fries in a outdoor field cooking rice metal tin!

The fish had too much batter and too little meat.

Four types of cheese on this pizza - I suspect there is blue cheese too!

Bangers and mesh? Hahaha.

Fried wings and buffalo wings/drumlets! I personally like the sourish spicy taste of the buffalo chicken!

Ribeye steak! My colleague polished it off the plate too quickly. haha.

Awfully choc banana cake, had this twice in 2 weeks! :p

She had to down a flaming lambo due to popular demand. Looks potent!

we <3 to hang out. lol!

a quiet roktober.

Dozo dinner with the engagement team! :)
It's been a long and hard 5 months but we reached the end of the journey. The working experience with a large bunch of us junior associates has been nothing short of amazing. Tons of laughter shared among us have forged friendships that will last (maybe) a lifetime.

Edible cheese flavoured sticks.

Appetizer, no kidding.

The food takes quite a while to be prepared so we camwhored.

Sashimi platter for sides
.
Lobster salad!

Smoked duck.

Escargot.

Creamy chawamushi, it's not bad too!

Soft shell crab.

Crab Bisque cappuccino style

Beef tepanyaki on a hot stone

The biggest piece of meat seen during the whole night - lamb shank!

Pork cheeks

Highly recommended, fruit tea! Very refreshing and light.

This tastes like a syrup drink. :(

This was the highlight of the night, the best dish we've tasted. The chocolate lava cake. *Drools.

All dressed up for Timbre's Roktober Fest!

Shari, who has a great job and will be going to Europe soonnn. Envious. I hope there are more job openings soon! :p

Candid shot of us! :)
