GSS broke my bank.

So my total spending over a week at Topshop was brought to a staggering $363.40 with acquisitions that I'm quite satisfied with. It was mentioned in Urban that when deciding whether to make a purchase, you should see the item matched in an outfit of at least 3 kinds with items in your closet.

1. Embellished Chiffon Cardigan in Creme
Look 1: Black maxi dress with the cardigan and a brown belt
Look 2: Silk tank top paired with a black HWS and the cardigan
Look 3: Mustard Romper with bracelet and cardigan

My HWS bottoms and leather skirt are quite easy to match with oversized tops/tops tucked in/tanks.

With these new babies, I've capped my GSS spending budget & will save for my plans on Jaynelles! :)

And I should find a new favourite haunt for clothes.

Restaurant Ten & everything random

Belated Mothers' Day Celebration at Restaurant Ten at Pervis Street, near Odeon Towers/Bugis area.

It feels like a fine dining experience in Chinese Cuisine, thanks to Uncle Ken for taking us there. :)

Red wine and sweetened mangoes for starters.

Egg white and some crispy flakes.

Nice cod fish, toooo littleeeee.

The other table had this fatty fatty meat, we had...

THISSSS!

Fried something, shrimp, was it? Omg, I'm really bad at doing food reviews.

Ah Yi and Uncle Ken!

My cousin and brother were dressed in similar shirts from different labels, Ben Sherman and Fred Parry. lol!

Small portions of vege.

We were hardly eating much so we spent most of our time camwhoring! :)

Posted this cos Ah Yi looks very very happy here.

As per Ah Yi, the 3 beauties! hahaha. So bhb. I've turned pinkish due to the wine.

In my very honest opinion, the food is quite ex and the portion is microscopically small. If you're a foodie looking for something to fill your stomach, do prepare some place for dessert after the meal. :)

And that's what we did. (At least we had some kind of a backup plan.)

We took the celebration to another location, my ah yi's place!

Oatmeal cake that tasted like cheesecake, awesomely done with a generous portion of strawberries!

Uncle Albert takes plenty of pics. PLENTY.
See what I mean... (I tried to reduce the number of pics as much as possible)

April/May babies in da family, yo!

Random snipshots of my life over the past week. :)

Awesome leopard flats I bought from urbanog some time ago. Only if it were half a size bigger.

Some cupcake my mum brought back from work.

A trip to the Toofdoctor at Pinnacle@Duxton!

Surprisingly formal despite TGIF!

Late night fish soup before Kungfu Panda 2 at West Mall.

Kungfu Panda 2 is a pretty short movie, but it's quite fun and lighthearted to watch.

Ai-Yu jelly with lime juice.

Lemon with aloe vera, it was alr very sour but N added in more lime from my jelly!

Hardcore JW Black label.

OFTD:
Knotted casual slouch top from BKK, Aeropostale light denim shorts, Black crystal drape necklace from Jingleyou.lj

Wanted to stock up on snacks at Marks & Spencer for the audit team but the jam puffs were OOS. :(

Alright, work starts tomorrow again.
We all look forward to the day we can live our dreams and have passion for what we're doing. Till then, life goes on.

Toodles y'all! Have a great week ahead! :)

light up bright eyes.

Caught an update on a shoes spree! :)
Gonna do a quick browse then sleep.

The brown tan pair is great for work, if only they had a black! :(
I've my Nine West nude pink pair, otherwise the pink one looks sweet too!

I've been keeping an eye out for casual low heel/wedge shoes to match my Sportsgirl brown satchel, and I think this is great! :)
Undecided about this cos I have my leopard flats which don't really feel very comfortable to walk in though they look awesome. Another factor is that it's patent and I'm not very crazy for patents at the moment.

Privé

Weekday brunches are love.

Had brunch with Ber the very next day after her last paper. :)

OFTD:
Navy vintage printed bow frock thrifted from BKK, Diva bracelet

The outdoor seating area.

We could see the construction of some posh condo in the distance.

Creme and Caramel tea or something. It's deliciously fragrant. :)

Poached eggs, strips of bacon, chicken sausage, baked beans and toasted bread. <3

The chives were so bitter!

Fluffy fluff pancakes with divine cheesy cream.

Look at it ooze out. :)

Me and Ber!

We just thought that the bubbles looked fascinating. Don't they?

Our footwear.

Some tram we hardly see on the road, it's so eye-catching aye?

Popped by Topshop and picked up some stuff, it's the sales season (GSS) yet again! :)
Swoons around in delight and excitement. Remember to head down early (it started last Thurs and will end this Sunday) before the popular sizes are gone!

Flutter back cape top - I got it in cream! :)

Got some more staples:

Suede leather corduroy maroon shorts & leather skirt - I got this in black cos it's more versatile to match.
Also got a pair of printed high waist shorts to match basic tops. :)

Alright, gotta end the entry now to rest up for tmr's work.
Toodles y'all!
