Universal Studios, baby!

I'm enjoying every minute of freedom. But all good things must come to an end, yes?
Today marks the end of my 1 week leave, I'm looking forward to the next!

Otw to RWS at 9.30am! :)

OFTD:
Floral dress from Glassons (Aussie brand), bracelet from Diva

Lugging our orange backpack!

Aviators. :)

Upon arrival, we were greeted by the Casino entrance. Strategic location, ya? :)

Breadtalk bun with a fly on it - spot the black speck. :(

Walked around the hotels for a while first.

At hard rock cafe:

Despite being super hungry, we skipped brekkie and went straight for USS cos we wanted to enjoy lunch inside one of the restaurants in the theme park.

The globally recognised, globe symbol of Universal Studios.

T'was a bright and sunny day. We were totally baked!
Lousy weather forecasted predicted cloudy skies.

USS consists of 7 'worlds/realms' - Hollywood, New York, Madagascar, Sci-Fi, Far Far Away, The Lost World & Egypt-Mummy-land or something. In my opinion, I like Sci-Fi the best for its rides, Hollywood for its gift shops and New York for food. :)

Hollywood.

N is analysing the map of USS.

Very useful in deciding which attraction to head to.

Sci-Fi's Cylon & Human rollar coasters were one of the best attractions!

We met Charlie Chaplin in New York! His behaviour imitations were really good.

The Egypt-Mummy land! :)
The attraction here was scary and thrilling!

Entrance to the attraction.

The Lost World - Jurassic Park.

Far-far away - Shrek's 4D adventure was awesome.

Spotted a couple in wedding suits! Not sure if they were paid mascots or they were really taking real wedding shots there! But the bride looked gorgeoussss. Hahaha.

We stopped by Waterworld for a show.

We went sourcing for food options at the various restaurants. In the end, we had Mel's Drive-in, a burger joint.

Monster rock musical - the only attraction that we wanted to visit but we missed.

As we were taking the rides, there were people carrying slushies in potion bottles in 2 different shapes. It was super cute, and I wanted to get one! Therefore, we went into the magic potion shop in Far Far Away to look for it.

We were unwilling to pay $15.80 for a bottle of slushie so I had to give it a miss. :(

We visited all the gift shops in search of the perfect memento to take away with us, and I managed to purchase a USS badge and a big doe-eyed puss in boots badge!

The closing ceremony - we left at the very end of the day. It was tons of fun spending the day with N!

N bought crocs to replace his Steve Madden sandals.

And on that bombshell, I shall retire to bed.
Shall blog about my brunch at Prive with Ber soon! :)

Looking forward to family dinz tmr for a belated Mothers' Day celebration.
